Living in Forever Joy

Jesus said that our "joy" is complete in Him. We have joy because we have Christ. Joy is not an emotion that we feel based on our circumstances. It is a present day reality for those who put their faith in Christ. Our circumstances may leave us feeling anything but happy yet, when we consider all that Jesus did for us - His death on a cross for our sin, a grave defeated, an eternity secured in him, a relationship restored with God our Father, and God's power at work in our lives today, how can we not have joy?
