10 May I Will Trust in God Fully
When I am afraid,
I will trust in you.
In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I will not be afraid.
What can mortal man do to me? Psalm 56: 3-4
This Psalm reminds us that it is important to constantly keep coming to God and putting our trust in Him. David wrote this at a time when he was seized by the Philistines.
Whatever we may be facing in terms of crisis or personal challenges, we can be sure that as we put our trust in God, He will help us, guide us, protect us and provide for us. Trusting in God means more than just wishful or hopeful thinking. To trust in God means to actively seek Him, surrender to His will and follow Him closely.
The best way for me to trust in God is to seek Him each morning and ask Him for His wisdom and guidance for my life. God gives me confidence and great hope for the future as I entrust Him with each day and with the most important decisions for each day.
Surrender to God’s will is not just a daily activity but an hourly choice. As I surrender to Him in everything, I can know that He cares for me and will work for me on my behalf. I am reminded of the Proverb in Proverbs 3: 5-6 that puts it this way: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” The New Living Translation puts it this way: Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
Thank You Heavenly Father for your great care over my life. I choose to trust You in all things. Come Lord Jesus and fill me with your Holy Spirit. Guide me by your Spirit and help me to do your will this day and every day. I choose to trust You with my ministry, my life, my family and all of the people You have entrusted to my care.
